Plagiarism Policy
The Editorial board of the Journal of Business Management and Entrepreneurship (JOBME) acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable. As a result, the board has implemented a policy outlining the actions (penalties) that will be taken when instances of plagiarism or similarities are identified in articles submitted for publication in JOBME.The Journal of Business Management and Entrepreneurship (JOBME) will utilize Turnitin's originality checking software to identify textual similarities between article manuscripts and the final versions of articles prepared for publication. The submitted papers must have a maximum similarity rate of 20%. If the similarity index exceeds 20%, the article will be sent back to the author for revision and resubmission.
Plagiarism is the act of using or closely imitating the language and ideas of another author and presenting them as one's own original work.
Submissions must be authentic, not previously published, and not awaiting publication anywhere. Any content directly copied from another source must be distinctly marked as separate from the current original text through (1) indentation, (2) the use of quotation marks, and (3) providing the source's identification.
Permission from the copyright holder is required for any text or graphic material that exceeds fair use standards, which are defined as more than two or three sentences or the equivalent. If possible, permission should also be obtained from the original author(s) and the source of the material should be identified, including any previous publication.
